Day 16; Too sexy for my shirt!

So to bring in the new year, 2011 (WAHOO!), little Liam is now able to wear clothing. He is no longer in his humidified isolette, so the nurses keep him in an isolette that doesnt require him to have any extra moisture in his air. This allows him to wear clothing that is not too baggy, yet not too tight either. Currently he is wearing a grey onesie, with no socks and no hat. He also upgraded from his extra small preemie diapers, to a regular preemie diaper now. While it is a little loose on him, the extra smalls were becoming too tight for his little belly. This way he has room to freely go about doing his business and not worry about getting a little infection. His weight gain continues to gradually increase. Little guy is up to a whopping 1,043 grams now (or 2 lbs, 5 ozs)! The doctors have him on 2 mL/hour of feeds yet again, hoping to increase back up to 4 mL/hour very soon. Dad is still waiting his turn to get to hold the little guy for the first time, but hopefully it will be within the next few days, if not tomorrow. We apologize again for the lull in posts, but we really do try to post as often and frequently as possible.
